Aftercare and Using daysoft

Getting the best from your daysoft lenses.

Why do I need Contact Lens Aftercare examinations ?

Your eyes and contact lenses should be examined regularly to ensure you are getting the best from your lenses and that your eyes remain healthy. At the examination your Optician should update/renew your Contact Lens Prescription.

How frequently should I have a Contact Lens Aftercare examination?

We recommend that Aftercare examinations are carried out annually or more frequently, if your Optician advises so.

Can I use a daysoft contact lens more than once?

daysoft lenses are for single use daily wear. They should not be used for sleeping and should be disposed of after one use. Daily disposable contact lenses are proven to be the safest as well as being most convenient.  Daily disposable lenses also have eye health and vision benefits and avoid daily cleaning.  With daysoft you have a fresh new lens every day.  Wear for a day then throw away. It could not be simpler.

Contact Lens Prescription

Ordering daysoft daily-disposable lenses is quick and easy with a prescription.

Why do I need a valid Contact Lens Prescription?

When your Optician issues a Prescription for contact lenses this confirms that your eyes are suitable for using contact lenses and gives the details you need to order them.  Before supplying lenses we will ask you to confirm that you have a valid Contact Lens Prescription and that you have not experienced any eye problems since that Prescription was issued.

I wear contact lenses but my Optician has not issued a Contact Lens Prescription

Your Optician should provide your Contact Lens Prescription at the completion of Fitting and Contact Lens Aftercare examinations.  Just ask for a copy if it is not given to you.

I think my Contact Lens Prescription may have changed - can I order different lens powers?

We recommend that you consult your Optician if you have any concern about your eyes or if you think your Contact lens Prescription has changed. If you think there may have been a change have your eyes and Contact Lens Prescription checked before ordering lenses.

What if I have been advised to stop wearing contact lenses ?

We cannot supply daysoft lenses until your Optician issues a fresh Contact Lens Prescription indicating that you can resume contact lens wear.

I currently wear monthly lenses - can I wear daysoft lenses?

If your current lenses are prescribed for daily wear check our brand list at Step 1 of the ordering process and select your current brand.  Our unique Brand-Match system will show the daysoft replacements for you.  If your current brand does not appear on the list please contact us so that we can advise you.

My prescription is for toric lenses - can I use daysoft lenses ?

daysoft® lenses have a spherical design. A Toric version is not available at the moment so if you have been prescribed Toric design contact lenses we will not be able to supply replacement lenses.

My prescription is for Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses - can I use daysoft lenses ?

You may be able to change to daily disposables. Rigid Gas permeable lenses are sometimes prescribed for visual or clinical reasons so you should consult your Optician for further advice. If they are suitable for you, your Optician can issue a Prescription for daily wear soft contact lenses.

I use my lenses for continuous wear over several days - can I use daysoft lenses ?

daysoft® lenses are  for single use daily wear.  They should not be used for sleeping and should be disposed of after one use.  Daily disposable contact lenses are proven to be the safest and give eye health and vision benefits compared to lenses used for continuous wear.

How will I know that you have received my order?

All lenses are despatched the same/next business day. Actual delivery time depends upon the delivery service chosen at the time of ordering and is confirmed during the order process.  You will find more detailed information on our Delivery Page.

What if I change my mind after using some of my daysoft lenses?

Please check that you are completely happy with the comfort and vision of your contact lenses within 7 days of receipt of your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, contact us straight way and we will arrange for you to return the remaining lenses for a refund. We will give a full refund if no more than 7 pairs of lenses have been used from the boxes supplied.

Can I return my lenses within seven days for any reason whatsoever for a full refund ?

Yes, you can.  Our money-back promise covers any reason whatsoever.

You can return opened boxes for a full refund under our money-back promise if they are returned within the first seven days from delivery of your lenses and no more than 7 pairs of lenses have been used.  Please see the Money-back promise for more information.

How do I return lenses for refund?

Before returning your lenses, please contact our Customer Care team  quoting your Order Number.  You will find more information on our Returns Page

Can I return an opened pack for a refund?

We can only refund full unused boxes of lenses within 30 days of delivery of the lenses.  However you can return opened boxes for a full refund under our money-back promise if they are returned within the first seven days from delivery of your lenses and no more than 7 pairs of lenses have been used.  Please see the Money-back promise page for more information.

How do I know it is safe to order online?

Your online payments are handled by WorldPay on their secure site.  WorldPay is an international specialist in the field of electronic banking and payments.  We can neither access nor obtain your payment details.

What happens if goods arrive damaged?

If your lenses arrive damaged please advise our Customer Care team immediately and let us know your Order Number and details of the damage. We will send a replacement order to you and may ask you to return the damaged items to us so that we can investigate the cause. 

What happens if my lenses do not arrive?

If you do not receive your order please contact us quoting your Order Number.  We cannot deal with claims for non-delivery more than 30 days after the original order.

How do I place an order?

The ordering system is very straightforward and designed to be as user friendly as possible. Click 'Order Now' and just follow the step by step instructions.

Why can't I order less than 2 boxes of daysoft contact lenses ?

daysoft® contact lenses are supplied at very low cost.  We only supply in two box packs because this is the most economical package and this helps keep costs down for everyone.  If you only use lenses in one eye simply enter the same prescription for Right and Left boxes.

Do your charges include taxes and duties?

The price you pay is the delivered price, to your home or office, including applicable taxes and duties.
